Direct fit, bolt in replacement for the 1948-1952 FORD Truck, with a Ford V8 Motor .
The standard core for this radiator has 2 rows of 1" tubes. The tubes are space 3/8" apart, on center. Some manufacturers space their tubes 1/2" on center. With 3/8"centers we are able to put allot more rows of tubes, fins, and coolant volume in the core as well as create allot more surface area for air to travel over......allowing for greater heat dissipation. The fin count on this radiator is 16 Fins per inch. This radiator is available in both an automatic and a manual version. For application that require an internal transmission cooler we manufacture this radiator with a high performance 5 plate tranny cooler that has roughly double the cooling capacity of the OEM radiator tranny cooler.
The filler neck is machined from a solid block of billet aluminum. This is a very strong type of filler neck that will not get damage during shipping and will not become deformed over time as with the stamped filler necks that many manufactures use.
The core is fully furnace brazed and is not epoxied. This unit is fully TIG welded. We do not MIG weld any portion of our products.
For application with big horsepower this radiator is also available with 1.25" tubes.
