Overall I was very pleased with the radiator. It dropped running temp about 15 degrees on a high comp m30b35 as advertised and the welds are very clean.

Though overall fitment was not ideal. Wizard attempted to maximize radiator size but may not have accounted for different year variations. On my 1987 535i subframe arms there was a rolled piece of steel on each side to help support the bumper. They protrude about .5” on each side. These needed to be ground away completely. The lower filler neck was also too close to the lower frame support so more bashing was required to make clearance. The holes for the fan shroud were also about .3” off the stock location as well. Due to the radiators extra thickness, the radiator must be removed to remove the clutch fan.

Before you order, look at the side of your subframe to see if you also have these features, if so, ask for the radiator width to be shortened an inch.

This radiator is almost too beautiful to install! The workmanship is superb, and attention to detail is obvious. It fits perfectly (unlike an Asian radiator that I could not force into the proper position) and bolts right up to the stock mounting points without having to re-engineer anything. It not only looks cool--it also cools the engine from running near the red zone with a stock radiator, to staying in the mid zone on the temperature gauge. Not cheap, but money well spent!

Long history of cooling issues, researched numerous choices and happily purchased the Wizard. My first impression upon receiving my Wizard radiator was quality construction, constructed by personnel with pride& passion .
The cooling issues have been resolved long term and now ready for some performance upgrades. Thank you Wizard

After replacing the radiator of my M6 twice with original BMW parts, and having the same failure as before, I finally got a Wizard Cooling radiator. The fit is perfect, and the build quality is second to none. This is what I should have done after the first failure, but I thought it was more economical to buy two BMW radiators first, so I could throw them away. Just get the Wizard. Unless of course you have $750.00 you need to throw away on OE parts first.
