Description

Congratulations! Now that you have entered your YEAR, MAKE, & MODEL you filter out all the products on the site that are not associated with your vehicle. At this point you should know that we offer over 100 options for this vehicle. This page will guide you through selecting the best performing unit for your application.  Please understand that our entire site is designed to help you find the best performing cooling solution that will physically fit into the space you have available to work with. It is not designed to steer you to the cheapest option, or one that is “just enough”. You will notice a blue flashing arrow on this page, use the tools below to help make the proper selections…

"ENGINE"

This is an easy one.  Select the engine that you are planning to use in your vehicle

"SHROUD YES/ NO"

If you like a shroud and electric fan package for your radiator select YES here

"CORE THICKNESS"

2.25” Thick Core This core is built with 2 rows of 1” tubes. It is the same thickness as a 4 row copper brass core, but cools like a 5 rows

2.75” Thick Core This core is built with 2 rows of 1.25” tubes. It is the same thickness as a 5 row copper brass core, but cools like a 6 row.

This thicker core adds about 20-25% additional cooling capacity over our 2.25" thick core.  Keep in mind that in addition to cubic inches of core those options provide over factory, these larger tube sizes also slow the flow rate of the coolant through the core, giving it more time to cool down before heading back to your engine.

We are often asked if we can build a 3 or 4 row radiator.  When people ask for that their plane of reference is usually from some experience with a copper brass radiator of a low performance, small tube, aluminum radiator from offshore.  We only build high end, very high performance radiators.....the bigger the tubes the better. See our FAQ for more insight)

“CRITICAL THICKNESS”

Since you are looking for a complete package it is imperative that you understand the space you have to work with between the core support and the first point of interference at the engine (usually the water pump pulley). The CRITICAL THICKNESS is the combined thickness of the radiator, shroud and fan all together. The goal here is to fit in the thickest option you have room for. If we go too thin we risk not cooling enough, too thick….we risk creating an interference. Every little step up in thickness can make a big impact on performance without a huge impact on your wallet! So measure twice!

“TRANSMISSION”

MANUAL Select this if you have a manual transmission OR if you have automatic but do not want a transmission cooler built into the radiator.

AUTOMATIC Select this option if you have a automatic transmission and want a tranny cooler built into your radiator

"AC CONDENSER"

If you would like us to supply you with an AC condenser…..let us know here!

"PERFORMANCE RANKING"

If we have more than one result that populates for the CRITICAL THICKNESS that you selected the site will then prioritize the options by performance
