1956-1960 Austin Healey 100-6 Aluminum Radiator

    Direct fit, bolt in replacement aluminum radiator for a 1956-1960 Austin Healey 100-6. This unit comes with a Sensor bung welded to the under side of the overhang on the tank tank (grill side), like the original.

    This radiator is made with 2 rows of 1" tubes. That is equivalent to a 4 row copper brass radiator in terms of thickness, however it will actually cool like a 5 row copper brass. This is a SIGNIFICANT improvement over the original copper brass radiator.


    There is a fan guard mounted to the motor side face of the top tank of this radiator. (Like the originally radiator) There is a sensor port on the grill side of the top tank, just like the original.

    You should know that the filler neck on the top of this radiator is built to a current SAE (Standard Automotive Engineering) specification that is followed by many manufactures including Ford, GM, and Mopar. This design is different than the OEM fillerneck that was used by Austin Healey. You will be able to find filler caps to fit this radiator that will match the OEM 4lbs or 7 lbs requirement. "STANT" is one of the manufactures of these caps.

    1. A work of art

      When I rec'd my radiator for my 1959 A-H M-100 I was amazed at the quality of the construction. As the owner of a manufacturing company I showed it to my staff of expert machinists. To a man they stated that the workmanship was unsurpassed. As we all know the stock radiator for most old British cars were woefully inadequate. This one will remedy this problem. After investing several thousand dollars to restore the car and the engine, having an overheating failure would be just plain stupid. Does it look original, no. It's aluminum. But there's no sense have an "all original" car if it means accepting the poor original design that limits the enjoyment of the car. on Nov 11th 2016
