Each of these DIY kits only includes a 1/4" NPT bung which will already be welded to the unit
Note: These kits require aluminum welding and fabrication

The radiator "blanks" comes complete, with both tanks welded securely to the radiator core. The finishing components (hose connections/ Filler necks/ Bungs/ Ect.) ARE NOT included in the kit but can be purchased separately on our site..... DIY KIT COMPONENTS
The extent of the fabrication will include; drilling holes in the radiator blank's tank for the components, then welding the components and fittings securely into place. It’s critical to ensure you have the ability to drill the holes and create air/water tight aluminum welds before starting a DIY Kit project.
The standard aluminum radiator blanks are available in a core thickness of 2.25”, featuring 2 rows of 1” tubes and a tank thickness of 3”. There is also an option to upgrade the core to 2.75" thick featuring 2 rows of 1.25" tubes

This is a excellent replacement radiator for your Dodge Dakota that has the HD Cooling option, especially since the OEM radiator is discontinued and no quality aftermarket radiators make one with a 1.5" core. The only thing that I had to do to complete the install was (1) Open up the holes on the factory plastic shroud to align the bolt holes and (2) Add spacers to the electric fan since the threaded post that were welded on the radiator were short and without the spacers the fan would rub on the radiator when it would come on. Other that those two minor issues, it is a very high quality radiator and keeps the temperature of coolant/engine down better than the stock OEM radiator. 5 â product!!!!
If you need a radiator for you Dakota, don't hesitate to purchase this one.. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I bought a radiator for my 2003 Dakota RT. This radiator is nice! It fits perfectly and I think it's twice as thick as the OEM. Best part about this whole deal, the radiator was made with a flaw that I had to send it back for. Wizards customer service is outstanding, I'm actually grateful that this flaw was there, it exposed how helpful and professional Wizard Cooling staff is. They fixed whatever was wrong in a very timely manner. I would definitely buy from them again!
