I have installed the Wizard Cooling Aluminum Radiator in my 74 TVR 2500M. It is a drop in replacement, but because the 2500M's were hand built, there were a few "very small" modifications to make things fit. The locating studs on the bottom of the radiator were a little too long and needed to be shortened to clear the bracket for the supporting the spare tire, and I had do cut out a small amount of the fiberglass wheel well to clear the top right side drain valve. I did the install with the bonnet in place. If I had removed it, the install would have been simpler, but I was on my own, and the bonnet is too heavy for me to deal with on my own, hence a little extra effort and scratches on my arms were the result.

In addition to the Alum. radiator, I installed 2 fans on the rear of the radiator (same fans I had on the old radiator and still had overheating problems at ambient temps over 85 degrees F) and I converted to Evans Waterless Coolant.

Bottom line, the radiator is well constructed and delivery was faster then expected. I am very happy with the results. With the Wizard Cooling Aluminum Radiator, fans and Evans Waterless Coolant, my engine temps are running at 185 degree F (controlled via 185 degree Thermostat) when driving at ambient temps in the high 80's. I will get to test it out driving in ambient temps in the 90's later this week, but I am confident it will perform well.

I recommend this product to other TVR 2500M owners who are having overheating problems or need to replace their radiator .
